Any comments? The first thing you notice is how well here understand the concept of federalism: each year compiles a statement to 'IRS -Internal Revenue Servic and (www.irs.gov) for the federal buy and sell part, and then you fill the same again statement, specific to those states where it has been for work. Mind you: I'm not talking about a contract of employment as a freelancer, but a contract of employment buy and sell with a Company, which regularly sends its employees to work in other states. Needless to say that each State applies a different rate of taxation. So I found myself doing four statements: a federal state and 3 in three different states, one of which I had attended ONLY for 2 days. And of course the results are not comparable because each state has in fact both the tax rate and so in some cases you find yourself in debt and other credit, some you have to send a check or pay online, others will send the check back ( or credit to the account) by 1 month (!!!).
Else. We had the problem that the children buy and sell do not yet have a Social Security Number (SSN, the consideration of the US Tax Code). Even this we thought the 'IRS -Internal Revenue Service: we have shipped buy and sell the package declaration to another office, also including the necessary documentation (copy of passport and visa authenticated by the consulate) that produced the necessary personal identification code, and then turned around to the office responsible for the validation of the tax return, no further requests to us. Another note deserves the sheets that the state of Illinois' sent me with allowance:
Only a page with a chart and some numbers, but really, buy and sell after reading it, you have the feeling of knowing how they were spent the money we paid: a beautiful cake with the percentages for the various items of expenditure (19% Education, Health Care 19%, 4% Public Pensions, Children & Family Services 2%), the value of the payments arretrat (6.1 billion dollars), that have been collected more taxes than expected ($ 1.3 billion). They're not necessarily a complicated double game with the details of all the items of expenditure (and that becomes unreadable to most), but rather a sintentica small page that indicates the major items of interest.
We here in NV, when the bill comes in the property buy and sell tax There is the detail (in hundredths) of how your money will be spent. I love them for that (even if you take a heart attack when you get a bill for $ 3023:-D).
