The company was behind only the Positive, whose most recent data point share of 15.1 percent in the first three months of the year. Lenovo says it has surpassed Acer and Samsung in the ranking of the second quarter.
In the first quarter of 2012, the participation of Positive was 12 percent, according to a statement from the Brazilian company, who did not want to disclose what their current share in the domestic market or to speak for this story.
For the executive, the advancement of Lenovo in the Brazilian market can be attributed purchase of Brazilian CCE last year in an operation of up to 700 million dollars. The purchase was made after the own Positive refused an offer to purchase made by Lenovo in 2008.
