Published today in O Globo. As many people orm know, the word vintage comes from French and means the act of harvesting the grapes to make wine. Currently, this friendly term is used to describe parts, clothing, machinery and all sorts of things that come from a time past, that were produced in former times to our own. I personally believe that objects orm have souls. Alma is perhaps a term very Catholic, orm and I may give that word because of my apostolic Roman creation. In any case, I have the impression that things that are part of our daily lives will guarding its own history and creating a unique universe around orm him. That is why I believe that nowadays people are so drawn to these ancient objects, even if they do not have, many times, one use. The preciousness of them is the fact that they are unique, tell stories, reminisce times, transport us in time and play directly in the center of our emotional memories. It is this proposal that the Wonder Vintage Market. The fair, which takes place for the third year in a row here in Paris, puts up for sale all sorts of vintage items (from furniture to clothes, vinyls and posters) from various decades of the last century. The event will take place next weekend and is a must for those who, like me, loves an old thing.
